LeeAnne Campos, Chorale Director
LeeAnne Campos began her professional music career at the age of seven in Munich, Germany, playing the role of a Siamese boy in a production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King and I. A past regional finalist in the Metropolitan Opera Council Auditions and the San Francisco Merola Opera Program Auditions, her repertoire included the roles of Despina in Cosi fan tutte, Mimi in La Boheme, and Nedda in I Pagliacci. An apprenticeship with the Chicago Lyric Opera Center for American Artists took her to Chicago in 1983. She was an active participant in the Chicago opera community, performing leading roles with the Chamber Opera of Chicago and Light Opera Works among others. She was a member of both the Chicago Lyric Opera Chorus and the Chicago Symphony Chorus under the direction of Margaret Hillis, and a recipient of the Margaret Hillis Fellowship.

Dr. Jieun Yun, Collaborative Pianist
Jieun Yun, D.M.A, is an organist and pianist actively performing throughout the Tacoma and Seattle areas. She enjoys collaborating with churches, choirs, instrumentalists, vocalists, and ensembles. Previously, Jieun served as adjunct faculty in Worship Leadership and the Keyboard Division at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where she earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Organ Performance under Dr. Carol Britt and Dr. Michaella Harrison, with a dissertation on J.S. Bach’s chorale Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme. She was awarded a full scholarship in instrumental music and worked as the head collaborative pianist for the music division until 2018. Currently, Jieun serves as adjunct faculty for collaborative piano at the University of Puget Sound School of Music, and has been the conductor for the Tacoma First Baptist Church Choir for the past three years.

Auditions
Audition may be taken on a case by case basis throughout the season. Please schedule your audition below and the Chorale director will be in contact with you.
In order to meet our Vision, Mission, and Values, we require auditions to ensure all musicians are a good match. Please read the rehearsal schedule and download audition materials as needed. When you are ready, follow the "Schedule Your Audition" link to send an email audition request - please include your name, instrument or vocal part, pertinent experience, and contact information.
We are currently scheduling auditions for all voice parts for the Bremerton Symphony Chorale.

Choir members should have music reading skills.

Chorale members must commit to the rehearsal and performance schedule. Notification of any absences must be shared with the Director.
The Chorale Director facilitates all vocal auditions. Voice part and placement are at the discretion of the Director.
COVID Protocols

Masks at rehearsals will now be optional.

Vaccination, though highly recommended, is not required.

Proof of negative test might be required before a concert

Sectionals: Tuesday 6:30-7:10 pm
Group Rehearsal: Tuesday 7:15-9:15 pm
