Featured Soloist
Cyrus Yan

Cyrus Yan is 14 and from Bainbridge Island. He has been learning the piano since he was five. Cyrus feels very fortunate that he has been taught by great piano teachers such as Dr. Irene Bowling, Dr. Jennifer Hammill and Alexandra Tsirkel, who help him transcend hitting the keys to expressing music. He has been awarded top prizes in the Seattle Bach Festival, the Russian Chamber of Music Competition, and other local competitions. In addition to playing the piano, Cyrus loves playing all kinds of sports and video games and is on the Bainbridge High School Sailing and Track team. Cyrus would like to thank his parents and piano teachers and is grateful to be able to play with the Bremerton Westsound Symphony.
Featured Solosist
Damaris Harvey

Damaris Harvey is grateful for opportunities to learn and perform the piano. She has been taking piano lessons for nearly a decade, and has been a student of Dr. Bowling for almost five and a half years. She also enjoys playing the violin, practicing Spanish, and being outdoors.
